The official revised tentative PDF lists two general examination sessions:

Important: These are general session windows, not a guarantee that every individual paper lasts three hours. IGNOU says the actual examination duration is shown on the question paper. Follow the reporting time and other instructions on your own hall ticket.

What If Your Course Code Is Not Found?

First check the code letter by letter. Use the subject/course code, not your programme name or enrolment number. The search field accepts common variations in spaces, hyphens and leading zeroes, but it is still important to match the intended course.

A missing result does not necessarily mean IGNOU has cancelled your exam. The course may not yet be present in the connected search file, may have a different code, or may be covered by a separate practical, project or programme-specific notice. Search the official PDF yourself and contact your Regional Centre if you still cannot confirm your schedule.

Before Your IGNOU Term-End Examination

• Compare your selected courses with the official PDF and your examination form.
• Check for revised notices, especially if your exam date, shift or centre changes.
• Download your hall ticket when IGNOU releases it and follow its centre/reporting instructions.
• For practicals, projects, laboratories or vivas, check whether IGNOU has issued a separate schedule.
• If two papers seem to clash, read the official group and clash instructions rather than assuming the dates can be changed.
• For revision, find your subjects in the IGNOU previous year question papers directory.
